Energy Calculation Services has
certified HERS raters on staff. "California Home Efficiency
Rating System aka CHEERS" is our HERS provider. CHEERS
charges a transaction fee called a Certification Processing Fee
for every HERS inspection. This fee is separate from any charges
by Energy Calculation Services. The HERS rater is required to
collect this Certification Processing Fee and forward it to
CHEERS. For projects that do not require a HERS certificate or
CF-4 form, no processing fees are required.

- Energy Calculation Services
makes every reasonable effort to work with the HVAC contractor
to obtain passing results. However, re-testing, waiting time
and time spent assisting the contractor to identify leak
locations are subject to additional charges payable at the
rate of $65.00 per hour.
